We are a employment business providing both online and in-person group and one-to-one tuition sessions across a range of subjects at different academic levels. Our tutors are hand-selected and possess a range of experiences from their professions and academic degrees.

Client Terms and Relations
These Client Terms govern the activities of Clients in relation to Your use of the Services. By using the Services, You accept these Client Terms and the Tutoring Terms in full. Bridge the Gap Tuition Ltd reserves the right to change the terms relating to these Client Terms and/or Tutoring Terms (or any part) at any time, effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Please read it carefully and ensure that You understand its effect before proceeding to use the Services. If You disagree with any part of the Client Terms, do not use the Site or the Services. If You are uncertain as to Your rights under these Client Terms or You want any explanation about them please contact us. These Client Terms were last updated on 8 February 2023.
1. Definitions

Client means a person who is registered Bridge The Gap Tuition Ltd for the provision of Tutoring Services on the Tutoring Terms, whether that be the Student and/ or (if under eighteen (18)), the Student’s Sponsor.

Free Trial Session is an optional unpaid session between You and a potential Tutor of approximately thirty (30) minutes duration which provides an opportunity for You to become acquainted with Your Tutor, to discuss Your specific learning requirements and/ or concerns and to assess their suitability to deliver Tutoring Services to You. There is no obligation to book or pay for further Tutoring Services. Please note we do not require Tutors to attend these sessions and some Tutors may be unavailable for Free Trial Sessions.

We, Us and BTG means Bridge The Gap Tuition Ltd

You means either Client, Sponsor or Student as the context requires.
2. Client Registration and Inquiries
1.1 If a student is under eighteen (18) years of age, a Student Sponsor, usually a parent/carer, is responsible for registering and providing us with their name and email address to aid Us provide tuition services.
1.2 Completing the Start Your Learning Journey form does not guarantee the Client the provision of tuition services.
1.3 You have the option to book ONE Free Trial Session and may be encouraged to do so.
1.4 If You then decide to continue receiving tuition services, You have entered an agreement with Us
When You confirm the outcome of the Free Trial Session, You will be given the opportunity to correct any information or discuss any queries before You make payment. If Your payment is successful, We, on behalf of Tutors, will preview and send an invoice confirming payment by email. Clients can specify payment preferences and We will do our best to adhere to them.
1.5 We can offer multiple Free Trial Lessons subject to availability and Our discretion.
1.6 Clients can purchase tuition services on a pay-as-You-go basis or in blocks of five (5)or ten (10) sessions.
1.7 The block of ten (10) sessions discount launched in May 2022 is only available to Clients that registered before January 2023. This initiative may be relaunched at anytime by Us.
3. Client Obligations
Upon booking and using Our services You agree:
3.1 to provide promptly and give to the Tutor and Us all such information as they may reasonably require in connection with the provision of the Services;
3.2 not to act as an agent to promote the services or opportunities of a company
3.3 not discuss discounts or the agreed hourly rate for tuition services with Tutors
3.4 to pay the agreed hourly rate subject to the net terms set by Us.This is currently set at fifteen (15) days but is subject to change. Different tutors have different rates due to experience and qualifications.
3.5 to acknowledge the receipt of invoices sent via email shortly before or after sessions
3.6 that tuition fees are non-refundable once tuition sessions are due to take place or have already taken place.
In the event that You are not satisfied with the services provided on behalf of BTG, notify Us through the regular channels of Our communication with You and We will be more than happy to resolve the issue and offer our sincere apologies.
3.7 to only pay for tuition services with Tutors through Us
3.8 If a student is unable to attend a booked session, the Tutor should be notified by the student or student sponsor no less than two (2) hours before the session to avoid fees.
We understand that life happens and are more than happy to accomodate Our services to Your schedule. Please bare in mind that Tutors have allocated time to prepare and deliver sessions and would be at a loss if these sessions are continuously missed. Although lenient, We reserve the right to terminate services or charge Clients for repeated absence without notifying the Tutor.
